Momentum Pro 5R air intake systems from aFe are designed around a large pre-oiled 7.5 in. tall, oval, cotton media filter with five layers of progressively finer mesh to maximize performance. These incredible filters fit into equally impressive one-piece housings with auxiliary air scoops and large clear-sight windows. Combined with the housings, these aFe air intake systems outflow the factory unit by 31 percent—yielding average gains of 11 hp and 13 lbs.-ft. of torque. Large Five-Layer Performance Air Filter:
This 360-degree radial flow air filter features our pre-oiled Pro 5R media with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. Our Pro 5R media gives your engine the most high-flowing air, usually resulting in the highest power gains from all our filter media options. This media is perfect for street and track use. In addition, its inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals.
Unique One-Piece Housing:
The smooth one-piece sealed housing, constructed of heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), features our patented pending filter-to-housing interface. Its innovative design minimizes the total number of parts, making for an easy installation. In addition, a large, clear-sight window allows for hassle-free filter inspection without disassembling your system.
Dyno-Tuned Intake Tubes:
This system features high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tubes to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. In addition, its XLPE material is heat-soak resistant and highly durable.
