C7 Corvette Expansion Tank
With not a lot of great choices out there for expansion tanks, we decided it was time to do something about it! Utilizing the GM quick disconnect fittings and bolt locations already existing we are producing 2.5 gallon expansion tanks for the C7 Corvette! These tanks are meant to expand the capacity of the supercharger cooling system in the Z06. They are notorious for heat soak issues and not everyone wants a big tank in their trunk taking up space that is already limited. The only other real alternative was an expansion tank that sits IN the engine bay. The very same engine bay that produces temperatures in excess of 300 degrees. Many, mounted on the frame rail, mere inches away from a 400+ degree exhaust manifold. The tank we produce goes in the front of the car, right next to the brake duct. Airflow passing through there keeps temperature expose to a minimum. We also have mirror tanks that go on each side increasing your exchanger capacity to a whopping 5 gallons! Lightweight and easy to install the average person, with the right tools, could install both of these in an afternoon!
